About Holly Stancil

In every role of my professional, volunteer, and family life, I have thrived on connecting people and organizations with their full potential. I spent my early career in human resources in the financial services and consulting industries. For me, recruiting was like a puzzle, where all the pieces were human! I especially loved working with managers to build and grow teams of inspired, committed, talented employees, which always paid off when teams met their goals and employees loved their jobs.

After more than a decade at home full-time with our three kids, I found my “second act” as a coach and consultant. I help job-seekers define a clear vision of their goals and strengths, create a compelling presentation of their value, and design a comprehensive strategy for finding their next great thing. My work has naturally extended to consulting for teams: I want my clients to work in healthy, engaged organizations, where all employees are hired thoughtfully and fairly, included in the mission, and supported in achieving their best results.

I have a Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Harvard and a BA in psychology from the University of Virginia. I completed my coach training through Rice University’s Doerr Institute for New Leaders, and I am an associate certified coach through the International Coaching Federation. To assist clients and teams in self-reflection, I’m a certified EQ-i 2.0 emotional intelligence coach and an Individual Directions Inventory practitioner. I am a student of the Enneagram as a way to grow in compassion for how others see the world. I’m also a mom to three teens/young 20-somethings and married to a lawyer, so I’m always up for a challenge!

I’d love to hear from you and explore how we can work together to find your next act, for yourself or your team. I know it is going to be great.

All the best,

Holly
